Peer internet solutions makes great efforts ín supporting its staff to reconcile family and profession. Since November 2010 the company has been correspondingly certified.

Familieundberuf is an audit applied in South Tyrol that is based on the
european work & family audit, an initiative of the non-profit Hertie foundation in Germany, which is exemplary on a world-wide scale.

In November 2010 Peer has been awarded with the certificate for „audit familieundberuf“. The family-friendly orientation of the company is continually supervised and refined by an internal reference person, who also takes care of family issues coming up in the company. Below some of the concrete measured that were defined and implemented:

• internal reference person for family issues
• vertical and horizontal part-time contracts
• flexible shift of part-time and full-time contracts
• time premium of 10 workdays for the birth of a child (in addition to the parental leave regulated by law)
• less than half part-time re-entry after parental leave
• possibility of partial assumption of costs for childcare during the hours of work
• possibility of overrunning the days of vacation
• and many more…

The implementation of the above mentioned measures is arranged on a partnership basis between the staff and the management.
